Running Free is a piece born from my exploration of evolving musical ideas and textures. Its ABAB-coda structure takes the listener on a journey, culminating in part B where the right hand unfolds intricate counterpoint – two melodies weaving simultaneously, creating a sense of motion and freedom. The interplay of voices gives the piece a lively, layered energy, reflecting its title.
